About the Salt

We thought you'd like to know about the salt we use.  We dont get the industrial, refined, sodium chloride that we all grew up hearing was bad for us.  We use Sel de Geurande, a natural, hand harvested sea salt from Britanny.  This mineral rich salt has over seventy trace minerals, naturally ocuring in the ocean, that your body needs to properly metabolise salt. This salt is naturally grey as it crystallises on contact with the clay which also contributes to its high trace element content. Less salty than Mediterranean salt, Guérande salt is softer on the palate and richer in flavour.  Unwashed, unrefined and additive-free, sel de Guerande adds distinct flavour to all our baked goods.
